At Commencement, HWS celebrated graduates as well as the achievements of honorary degree recipients who have devoted themselves to enriching HWS and the communities around them.

As the only emergency physician on staff at Uvalde Memorial Hospital after the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School, Dr. Gilberto Arbelaez ’06, Sc.D. ’23 led the emergency care team in treating victims.

A principal investigator and senior research associate at Harvard’s Project Zero, Carrie James ’92 returned to campus this spring to participate in the President’s Forum Series.
