Bring numbers to life with a minor in Data Analytics. Combining quantitative knowledge of collecting data and qualitative analysis, you’ll learn how to ethically substantiate facts. Belonging, Diversity and Equity

Women, people of color and low-income students have historically been disadvantaged when it comes to participating in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields. This program is set up sequentially, which helps all students find support and build community with a cohort of peers completing the steps of the program at the same time. Not having traditional prerequisite math courses encourages students to participate, regardless of their past experiences or apprehensions toward mathematics.

Introduce yourself to data types, collection methods and modeling while exploring questions on data privacy, collecting ethics and the specter of bias.

DATA 251 DATA AND CONTEXT

Explore the questions and choices that can shape data from real world applications.

DATA 353 DATA ANALYSIS CAPSTONE

A semester-long research project that allows you to independently create and answer a hypothesis using data.
