ADMITTED STUDENT DAYs
Get to know our engaged community of students, faculty and staff, explore residence hall options, meet your future classmates and learn more about the resources available to you at HWS. Special programming available for families. Day begins at 9 a.m. and, depending on the activities selected, goes through early to mid-afternoon. Admitted Student Days will take place on the following dates:

VISIT CAMPUS
ADMITTED STUDENT DAYS
Saturdays: Feb. 28, Mar. 28, Apr. 11, Apr. 18
Connect with the HWS community, meet future classmates and spend time on our beautiful lakeside campus. Admitted Student Days include attending a class with an HWS professor, campus and residence hall tours, and conversations with students, faculty and staff in the academic and co-curricular programs that interest you most.
Who should attend?
These programs are designed for admitted students who are still deciding and want to explore HWS more deeply, as well as enrolled students looking to preview their first-year experience and the four years ahead. Families, parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and learn how to best support their student through the transition to college.
ADMITTED STUDENT DAY RECEPTIONS

Connect with the HWS community at a regional event near you. You’ll meet admissions staff, local alumni, faculty and fellow members of the HWS Class of 2030 while gaining deeper insight into the HWS experience.
Who should attend?
Admitted and enrolled students and their families, parents and guardians who want to celebrate admission and further engage with the HWS community. These events are especially ideal for those who have already visited campus or may not be able to return this spring.
ADMITTED STUDENT CAMPUS VISIT
Fridays beginning Feb. 6; Feb. 16; Daily beginning Mar. 23
Go beyond a traditional college visit with a day designed around your interests. Campus Visits may include a guided tour, complimentary lunch with a current student, class visits, and one-on-one conversations with admissions or financial aid counselors.
Who should attend:
Admitted students who are still deciding and would benefit from one more in-depth look at campus.
LEADERSHIP AND LEARNING: ENHANCED CAMPUS VISIT
Mondays through Apr. 27
Enhance your campus visit by sitting in on a signature HWS course: MGMT 305: Leadership and Learning in Entrepreneurial Values. Co-taught by Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship Tom Drennen and global business leader Dan Rosensweig ’83, this course features an extraordinary lineup of guest speakers including the CEOs of Nike, ESPN, Eli Lilly, PayPal, Cisco and Adobe (among many others) sharing insights into leadership, innovation and the industries shaping our world.
Who should attend?
Prospective students and their families, parents and guardians interested in entrepreneurship, business, leadership, management or the classroom experience at HWS. Space is limited to 25 seats each Monday and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Getting to Campus
Our location in Geneva, N.Y. lends itself to a variety of transportation options, including nearby airports, train and bus stations.
AIRPORTS
Campus is approximately a one-hour drive from both Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Airport transportation service can be contracted with our preferred local vendor, Finger Lakes Limo Service.
BUS STATION
There is a bus stop in Geneva located at 372 Exchange Street. Our Campus Safety Office can provide rides to and from the station as needed. Tickets can be purchased online.
TRAIN STATION
Amtrak has stations in Rochester, N.Y. and Syracuse, N.Y. Both locations are approximately a one hour drive from the HWS campus. Transportation service can be contracted with our preferred local vendor, Finger Lakes Limo Service.

VIRTUAL SESSIONS

Engage, explore and get your questions answered—no matter where you are. Join virtual discussions led by faculty and staff on topics ranging from residence life and First-Year Seminars to athletics, career preparation and more.
Who should attend?
Enrolled or admitted students, as well as families, parents and guardians are encouraged to attend any virtual session of interest. Some sessions are designed for specific audiences, which are noted in the session description.
