On the day after graduating magna cum laude in biochemistry from William Smith, MaryAlice Spin ’16 is sworn in as an ensign in the U. S. Navy Reserve. In August, Spin will begin four years of medical school at Upstate Medical University before applying to military residencies.

Alums enjoy an afternoon on the Quad during Reunion 2016, which had record attendance with more than 1,200 members of the HWS community, including alums representing 50 class years and returning from as far away as Italy, Russia, Guatemala and England to enjoy the lineup of events.
