Payroll and Tax Compliance Manager

Responsibilities include: performing the day-to-day payroll function, while also ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulatory reporting requirements. Manages the taxation of payments to international students, employees and vendors. Responsible for federal and state wage and tax reporting, and prepares and manages the distribution of W-2 forms and responds to unemployment claims. Point of contact for all payroll questions and concerns.

Responsibilities include: administering the recruitment and selection process for administrative staff, supports supervisors with the position requisition process and composition of job descriptions, administers the background screening and motor vehicle screening processes and conducts employment orientations and benefits onboarding sessions for new faculty and staff.

Responsibilities include all aspects of Student Employment process.

Tabatha Spinner

Associate Director Human Resources

Responsibilities include: benefit plan administration, advising and counseling employees and/or family members on benefit-related questions/issues, assist employees with workers compensation, disability leave and disability accommodation requests and maintaining position salary, benefit and title changes in PeopleSoft.
