Led by Professor of Education Jim MaKinster, the students conducted research for the non-profit agency and presented it to members of the Geneva community, including the Geneva City School District.

One of the year's honored celebrations, Charter Day is held each spring to commemorate the granting of Hobart's charter by the State of New York on April 10, 1822. - President Mark D. Gearan reads the names of those lost in the Holocaust as part of Hillel's annual “Reading of the Names” in observance of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. Members of the HWS community took turns reading throughout the day.
