Through an SIIF grant, Tolulope Arasanyin '21 conducted independent research on pre- and post-war Vietnam. Titled, Humans of Hanoi: From Colonialism to Communism, Arasanyin conducted in person interviews with locals. -
Tolulope Arasanyin '21 wins third place in Street Photography for her snapshot of a man and his cyclo. Taken in Hanoi, Vietnam, the cyclo was first utilized during French occupation. It is now a popular way for tourists to see the city. -
Djeneba Ballo '20 studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal. While there, she took classes in Wolof and French, and maintained a blog - where she deconstructed myths about African life and culture. -
