On the day after graduating magna cum laude in biochemistry from William Smith, MaryAlice Spin ’16 is sworn in as an ensign in the U. S. Navy Reserve. In August, Spin will begin four years of medical school at Upstate Medical University before applying to military residencies.

Teaganne Finn ’16 speaks of her experience at HWS thanks to the scholarship she received through the Geneva Scholarship Associates during the organization’s annual reception held this year in the L. Thomas Melly '52 Lobby of the Gearan Center for the Performing Arts. This fall, Finn heads to American University for a degree in investigative journalism.
