During break, Professor of History Clifton Hood talks to second graders in a public school in Manhattan about the history of the New York City subway, on which he has written a book. Hood’s most recent publication “In Pursuit of Privilege: A History of New York City’s Upper Class and the Making of a Metropolis,” has received significant national and international media attention.
