Deputy Mayor of Seattle Hyeok Kim '98 received the Civil Rights Award at the Japanese American Citizens League’s 94th Annual Banquet & Scholarship Fundraiser at Sodo Park in Seattle, Wash. on April 2. Kim was chosen by Seattle Mayor Ed Murray as one of the city's two deputy mayors in December 2013.
