As the recipient of a prestigious 2017-18 Fulbright U.S. Student Award, Jordan Loretz ’17 will travel to Taiwan this fall to begin his tenure as an English Teaching Assistant. An Asian studies and music double major, Loretz plans to use music as a tool to help his students advance their English language comprehension and speaking skills.

In the Seneca Room, Senator Pam Helming (R-Canandaigua) speaks to HWS students and staff as well as members of the Geneva community highlighting funding in the New York State 2017-18 budget designated for water infrastructure and water protection, including in the Finger Lakes. The budget allocates $2.5 billion to help ensure access to clean, safe drinking water, while addressing water quality issues and infrastructure needs statewide.
