Students discuss leadership development strategies as part of the Greek Emerging Leaders Academy in Stern Hall. The Emerging Leaders Academy selects up to 25 outstanding sophomores to participate in a series of seminars, weekly discussions and interactive activities designed to encourage them to be effective leaders within their organizations and on campus.

Rebecca Czajkowski ’18 talks about the personal impact the terrorists attacks had on her family during the remembrance ceremony on Monday. Czajkowski’s mother Traci Tack-Czajkowski P’18 was a detective with the New York Police Department who responded to the attacks the morning of September 11. She passed away after a battle with lung cancer attributed to her service.

In memory of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, members of Kappa Alpha Society placed American flags near Trinity Hall overlooking the Quad as part of the annual day of remembrance. The HWS community lost three alumni in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001: Andrew H. Golkin ’93, Scott W. Rohner ’01 and Michael J. Simon ’83, P’11, P’13.
