- Faculty and staff join the Classes of 2021 on the Quad for Orientation Day of Service. This year, more than 740 HWS students went to 29 local service sites throughout the city of Geneva and within surrounding Ontario and Seneca counties.

A hot air balloon floats over the Quad. The balloon was brought to campus as part of a week-long celebration of the inauguration of President Gregory J. Vincent '83. - Digital Correspondent for National Public Radio Laura Sydell ’83 speaks with Ted Nappo ’18 in the WEOS/WHWS radio station. Sydell served as the keynote speaker at the 2017 Convocation ceremony. Nappo interviewed her for The Herald newspaper.

- Professor of Dance Donna Davenport works with students in the course, Composing Works: Music & Dance Composition, co-taught by Davenport and Associate Professor of Music Mark Olivieri.
- In memory of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, members of Kappa Alpha Society placed American flags near Trinity Hall overlooking the Quad as part of the annual day of remembrance. The HWS community lost three alumni in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001: Andrew H. Golkin ’93, Scott W. Rohner ’01 and Michael J. Simon ’83, P’11, P’13.

- Lucas Mischler '20 works in the Houghton House studio. As an architectural studies and art history double major, Mischler spent the first half of his summer as a design and engineering intern for Penn Medicine and the second portion of his summer as a fine arts education and administrative intern at the Wayne Art Center.
