- Kelsey Pierce ’20 clears a shot off the goalline during the Herons’ 2-1 victory over Skidmore. Four members of the William Smith field hockey team earned a spot on the 2018 Liberty League All-Academic Team.
- Wide receiver Ray Conley '20 escapes a defender during the Centennial Cup against the University of Rochester. The Statesmen finished the season with a 5-4 record, having named 15 players to the 2018 Liberty League All-Academic Team.
- The Hobart and William Smith sailing team practices on Seneca Lake. The Colleges finished first in a field of 18 teams at the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association's fall coed championship in Oct. 2018.
- Charlotte Engebrecht ’21 hits a backhand during the Mary Hosking Invitational. The Herons return to competition on March 2, when they host Oberlin in Bristol Field House.
- Alan Dubrovsky ’20 hits a backhand shot during the ITA Northeast Regional Championship. Dubrovsky went on to become the first Statesman to win the ITA Regional Championship since Adam Schapiro ’96 won in 1995. An All-American, he enters the spring season as the nation’s fifth-ranked singles player.

Nagina Ahmadi ’20 abroad in Seville, Spain. This fall, Ahmadi received second place in a literary writing competition sponsored by the Consulate of Spain in New York City for university and college students in New York. - Applied Instructor of Guitar Studies and Director of Jazz Guitar Ensemble Greg Wachala and Aleem Mohammad '19 rehearse in the Gearan Center for the Performing Arts.

During the first annual William Smith @ Work conference, HWS presented Managing Director at Citi Private Bank Mehrnaz “Naz” Vahid-Ahdieh ’85, P’17 with the Board of Trustees Career Services Award. She is joined here by Salisbury Center Director Brandi Ferrara, Trustee Aileen Diviney Gleason ’85 and Interim President Patrick A.
