As part of an independent study in chemistry aimed at discovering new anticancer compounds, Ameer Muse ’26 inserts the first-ever sample into the carousel of a new 500 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer. The purchase of the NMR was made possible by HWS Trustee Kevin Stein ’88. -
Rebecca Barr ’25, MAT ’26 works with students at North Street Elementary School. Barr is the recipient of a 2026 U.S. Student Fulbright Award to Indonesia where she will serve as an English Teaching Assistant.
