- Krista Longo ’16 takes the ball away from St. Lawrence in the Liberty League tournament championship on Cozzens Field on Saturday. Longo scored the game-tying goal for William Smith, sending the game into overtime.
- At the annual Tackles & Touchdowns for Happiness House game on Saturday, the captains of the Hobart football team were joined by Holly Miller of Seneca Falls and her family for the coin toss prior to Saturday’s game. Miller, who will turn 5 in December, has attended Happiness House since age 2.
- Hobart football’s Shane Sweeney ’19 engineered a seven-play, 64-yard game-winning drive that culminated in a 4-yard touchdown pass with 1.8 seconds remaining to lift the Statesmen to their upset of the Saints on Saturday.
- The William Smith soccer team captured its ninth straight Liberty League tournament title with a 2-1 overtime win over St. Lawrence on Saturday.

- The Heron field hockey team captured its 11th Liberty League Championship and first since 2012 with its win over the Yellowjackets on Saturday.
- William Smith field hockey’s Maura Moran ’18 puts a shot on goal in the Liberty League tournament championship against Rochester on Saturday. The Herons topped the Yellowjackets 3-1 to earn the conference title.
- Joe Bochynski 08 installs his works in the Davis Gallery in preparation of his show titled Everybody is Everybody. The opening reception and gallery talk will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, and the installation will remain on display until Nov. 13.
