In the Blackwell Room, students taking “Foundations of Africana Studies” with Visiting Assistant Professor of Africana Studies Elana Jefferson-Tatum presented a portion of their final projects during the Africana Studies mini-conference, #BlackStudiesMatters. Topics ranged from the impact of microaggressions on black college students to representations of Africa in Blaxploitation films. -
