GUIDELINES FOR PROPER CHECK-OUT OF STUDENT ROOMS

  • Attend your community circle for important information about check out.
  • All posters, hanging objects, tape, tacks, and nails must be removed from the ceiling, walls, and door.
  • Remove and properly dispose of all personal furniture including rugs, chairs, and couches.
  • Empty and remove all contents in closets, desks, and bureaus. Donation efforts will be in place for any unwanted belongings.
  • All trash and recycling should be bagged and taken out to the designated dumpster for your area. There will be a $25.00 minimum excessive cleaning charge for any room not properly cleaned. Trash and recycling bags are available upon request.
  • Return all library books, Saga utensils, and rented textbooks.
  • Colleges-owned furniture must be assembled and in the same condition as when you moved in.
  • Remove and return all lounge and study room furniture.
  • Students should not attempt to do any repairs to items broken or vandalized in their room.  This could result in additional work for staff and greater cost to you.
  • Return your key(s) to your check out location before you leave for the summer.  Not returning your room key will result in you being charged improper check-out fees related to a lock change.

SUMMER STORAGE

The Colleges cannot provide an on-campus option for students looking to hold things in storage over the summer. We recommend reviewing the information for Dorm Room Movers. The company will pick up your items, store them safely all summer, and return them to campus upon your return in August! *Fees charged directly to student.
