21 November 2016 Thanksgiving at HWS

Staying on campus during Thanksgiving break? If so, students have multiple options to gather as a community during the long weekend.

The Office of Intercultural Affairs invites students to join them throughout the weekend. The Office will be open from 12-5 p.m. on Thursday; 5-10 p.m. on Saturday; and 7 p.m.-12 a.m. on Sunday. They will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24.

Tickets to Geneva Movieplex will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis followed by a pizza and game night at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Chaplain Maurice Charles will host his weekly Pasta Night beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at the Chaplains Residence, 630 S. Main Street. Interested students do not need to RSVP, however, it is encouraged to email Charles@hws.edu if you plan to attend.

A Kosher Shabbat Dinner will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 at the Abbe Center for Jewish Life. At the event, students will gather to experience a traditional home-cooked dinner, light Shabbat candles, and pray.

Saga will be open until 6 p.m. on Tuesday and will reopen for dinner on Sunday, Nov. 27. AuBon Pain will be open until 2 p.m. on Tuesday and will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Caf and Cellar Pub will close on Tuesday and reopen on Monday, Nov. 28.

The HWS shuttle will stop service midday on Tuesday and resume on Sunday, Nov. 27.
