"Majoring in chemistry and minoring in economics at HWS helped me understand how my job is more than just a job at a bench, how it’s viewed as a business by customers and how it’s important to learn where the industry is headed economically. I developed skills that will help me develop a focus on the communication side of science because discoveries will go nowhere unless people can communicate effectively to create new policy."
