Transfer of College Credits and Credit by Exam
HWS evaluates transfer credits from prior college courses (even those taken while in high school as part of a dual enrollment program) upon receipt of an official transcript sent directly from the awarding school. Similarly, AP and CLEP scores received directly from the College Board are evaluated automatically. This process usually takes one week and the resulting credits appear in PeopleSoft. Students should arrange with their prior school to have transcripts sent to registrar@hws.edu. AP and CLEP scores can be sent to HWS by visiting the College Board website.
