Thank You, Ten
Celebrating a Decade as a Department & Two Centuries of Theatre at HWS
April 12-13, 2024
The name “Thank You, Ten” is a play on words, taken from the calls that stage managers issue to actors and crew. They might say, “ten minutes to places” and the company responds, “Thank You, Ten,” as a means of acknowledging they have received the call and are ready for what’s next. April 2024 marks the ten-year anniversary of the creation of the Theatre Major and the establishment of the Theatre Department at HWS. But theatre and performance have been part of the curricular and extracurricular experience of students since the earliest days of Hobart College. To mark the occasion, the Theatre Department is hosting a two-day celebration event in conjunction with the final production of the HWS Theatre 2023-2024 season.
