At the Henry Hanley Biological Field Preserve, Professor of Biology Mark Deutschlander works with Katie Crandall ’26 and Lily Morrell ’26 to record data, band and release birds as part of a new migration project. Permits for this work are provided by the USGS Bird Banding Laboratory and NYDEC to Professor Deutschlander, and birds are handled using ethical guidelines from the North American Banding Council.
