Caio M. De Medeiros ’23 and other students reflect on what they're grateful for in a special This Week in Photos. “I’m thankful for my family and my girlfriend, who have been very supportive throughout my time at Hobart and William Smith,” he says.
“I’m thankful for friends, family and opportunities,” says Jesse Whelan-Small ’23. “Same,” says Kate Equinozzi ’23, “and I’m also thankful for the future and everything to come.”
“I’m thankful for the house that I live in on the lake, the beautiful views and people, and the opportunity to go swimming all the time,” says Annette Stephens ’24.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to pursue a higher education here at Hobart and William Smith,” Malique Bailey ’24 says.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to come here and study abroad,” says exchange student Finley Hetherington Aherne from the United Kingdom, who is studying at HWS for the 2022-2023 academic year.
“I’m thankful for my family and my friends and I’m really excited to go home for Thanksgiving break,” Sabrina Weldon ’23 says.
“I am thankful for the relationships I have built on campus and all of the opportunities that I get at HWS,” says Renee Aga ’25. “I’m thankful for the rainbow we just saw!” Natalia Bondarev ’25 adds.

“I am thankful for my family and my cats and I’m excited to go see them soon,” Ksusha Lowry-Neufeld ’25 says.
“I am thankful for club soccer,” Godson-Kemfon Umoren ’26 says.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to study architecture at HWS and abroad in Rome this spring,” says Julia Cianflone ’24.
“I am thankful for all my mentors here on campus who have helped me discover myself and are helping me prepare for a meaningful career after graduation,” Jett Wright ’23 says.
“I’m thankful that I got my last physics homework assignment turned in today!” Bethany Poirier ’25 says.
“I’m thankful for my friends and family and for Au Bon Pain,” Aaron Tober ’26 says. “I’m thankful for my friends and family and Professor Janette Gayle who teaches a great history course,” Carrolyn Norris ’25 adds.
“I’m thankful for my family for putting me in a position to succeed. I want to make them proud. And I’m thankful for the friends I’ve made on my college journey. I hope to have a long friendship with them,” says Demarius Coleman ’25.
“I am thankful for the friends and connections I have made here at HWS. I am so lucky to have found my lifelong friends,” Alex George ’24 says.
“I’m thankful for my home away from home in Odell’s Village and the freedom to cook for myself,” Jackson Mischler ’24 says.
