- More than 2,000 students, faculty, alums, staff and community members filled Bristol Field House for the Bicentennial Gala in October.
- Led by Associate Professor of Dance Kelly Johnson, students perform a Guinea Style West African Dance during the Bicentennial Gala.
- Board Chair Craig Stine ’81, P’17 announces that the newly renovated and expanded Intercultural Center will bear the name of Rev. Dr. Alger Adams ’32, D.D. ’83, Hobart’s first Black alumnus. Adams’ daughter, Patricia, joins Stine on stage. The naming was made possible through a lead gift from Stine and his wife, Kathy Hay Stine P’17.
- Led by President Mark D. Gearan on the keys, the President’s Garage takes the stage during the Bicentennial Gala.
- Students rock out as the President’s Garage Band sings “Sweet Caroline.”

- Students assist with meal packing for Rise Against Hunger at the Robert A. Bristol ’31 Field House during the annual HWS Orientation Day of Service.
- During a visit to campus, award-winning writer, director and producer Brad Falchuk ’93, L.H.D. ’14 discusses his career and answers questions from students in Bartlett Theatre.
- Students studying abroad in Italy visit Paestum, a city famous for having ancient Greek temples. They are led by Associate Professor of Media and Society Lisa Patti and Associate Professor of Writing and Rhetoric Ben Ristow.
- Statesmen and their fans celebrate their victory over Oswego. Hobart hockey remains undefeated and is ranked No. 1 in the nation.
- Sofia Pattillo ’24 celebrates her first career NCAA tournament goal. The Herons beat Hartwick 4-0 to advance to the second round in Babson Park, Mass.
- Blake Hansen ’23 goes airborne to help Anthony Romano ’25 tackle a St. John Fisher wide receiver. The Statesmen shut out the Cardinals 17-0.
- Heron soccer celebrates one of Nwabisa Qoba's '25 goals in their victory over Bard. The Herons (14-2-6) advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament.
