An essay by Leah Himmelhoch of the HWS Classics Department is included in Same Sex: Debating the Ethics, Science, and Culture of Homosexuality (Studies in Social, Political and Legal Philosophy), edited by John Corvino, which is now available in the Faculty Section at the College Store.
Himmelhoch translated and contributed notes to Aristophanes' Speech from the 'Symposium,' by Plato.
A member of the faculty since 2003, she holds a bachelor's degree from Yale, and her master's and doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin.
