7 October 2014 Call Security Releases New EP, Music Video

Call Security, a band comprised of five HWS students and alums, released its new five-song EP, To Whom it May Concern, in tandem with a music video for the albums first single, Small Talk.

The group was interviewed about their newest ventures on WNYR 98.5 FM on Wednesday, Oct. 8. The band is also a featured artist this October on WHWS, which has been playing one song from the album every hour.

Band members include Peter Keller 15 on bass, Tucker Jennings 14 on drums, Kathryn Middleton 14 on keyboard, Michelle Poulin 15 on guitar, and Ben Scheibel 14 on vocals.

Named the Judges Choice winner at the Saratoga Performing Arts Centers 2013 Battle of the Bands, Call Security has performed at Webster Hall in New York City and were the opening act for Passion Pit at the Smith Opera House in 2012. The band took second place at Turning Stone Resort Casinos College Battle of the Bands competition in 2014 and was also voted Fan Favorite.

Inspired by the likes of Blink 182, the Killers, and Mumford and Sons, the alternative rock band formed at HWS in 2011 and built its initial following through shows on campus.

The band released its first, six-song EP, Evidence, in 2013.
