Career Services will welcome Robert Hall P14 for a talk called From Finance to Fashion as part of the ongoing Professionals in Residence series hosted by the Salisbury Center for Career Services and Professional Development. Hall will speak about his experience in finance on Wall Street and his shift to the fashion world. The talk will take place in Stern 103 at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2.
Hall is chair of the board for Vera Bradley and has been a director since 2007. He is the principal of Andesite Holdings, a private investment firm which he founded in 2007.
Previously, Hall served as an executive director for UBS Financial Services and a senior vice president for Paine Webber in Philadelphia, Pa. Additionally, he is the chair of the board of the Mid-Atlantic region of Teach for America and serves on the board of directors for Bills Khakis, Tory Burch, and Fly-Low. He is a director of Thomas Raymond & Co., New World Stoneworks LLC, and KodaBow Inc.
The Professionals in Residence series regularly brings alums and parents to campus to share their career experiences with students.
