Katie Gordon 13, an admissions coordinator for the Wediko Childrens Services Summer Program, will give a talk about available internship opportunities with the organization at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 in Gulick 100. The presentation is hosted by the Salisbury Center for Career Service and Professional Development as a part of the Professional in Residence series at HWS.
Wedikos therapeutic program caters to approximately 160 children with emotional and behavioral problems. Theorganizationaims to recruit graduate and undergraduate students to hold paid internships during the summer of 2014.
The offered internship provides students with 750 clinical hours, and the opportunity to work alongside practicing professionals in the competitive mental health field.
Following the talk, one-on-one appointments with Gordon will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. Students wishing to request an interview should sign up by contacting cso@hws.edu. All majors are welcome.
