8 October 2013 Alum's Company Among Fastest Growing

Recently, Wireless Analytics, LLC, of which Erik Eames 82 is founder and chief executive officer, was listed in Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country and the 50th within the telecommunications sector. Wireless Analytics was ranked 2,147 on Inc. magazines seventh annual Inc. 500|5000. The list represents the most comprehensive look at Americas independent entrepreneurs.

It is a real honor to be recognized, said Eames in a press release. Were particularly proud to have created 21 new jobs during difficult economic times.

The inclusion of Wireless Analytics on the list comes during a milestone year for the company, its 10th in business. Throughout the decade, it has maintained 100 percent client retention. In February, Wireless Analytics received AOTMPs 2012 Efficiency First Framework Supplier Adopter Award. The award recognizes the companys implementation of best practices to help their clients maximize the strategic value of their telecom assets to drive business growth.

With the wireless space transforming so rapidly, building a growing business requires constant shifts in business planning and adjustments in our services to meet the changing needs of our customers, said Eames. Thats what makes it an interesting and fun space to be in.

Eames earned a B.A. in individual studies from Hobart College and has more than 30 years of business experience, the last 20 years in telecom and wireless. He has held telecom consulting positions within the InfoCom strategy practice at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) as well as senior management positions in several successful entrepreneurial ventures in the telecom and wireless industry. He previously spent eight years in advertising and marketing. He is an active member of the board of directors of the Telecom Expense Management Industry Association.

As a Hobart student, Eames was a member of the track team, for which he received the Emblem Award, and participated in study abroad to Israel and Egypt. He worked at Saga.
