21 June 2005 Alumnus managers actions profiled

Ed Scheidlower, president of Bryce Capital Funds of Bushnell's Basin, a 1988 graduate of Hobart College, was profiled in a June 19 story in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.

Bryce began selling two mutual funds less than a year ago, and recently waived the $2,500 minimum investment, making it easier for young investors to get into the market.

We know that if we do a good job over time, these accounts will grow and they will add to them, Sheidlower said.

The article also mentioned Jacob Boak, 23, of Winthrop, St. Lawrence County, a rising senior year at HWS. He heard about the program from Sheidlower and made a $50 initial investment.
