D'Angelo's work performed at composers' conference

String Quartet No. 8, subtitled Music of Nights with Moon, by HWS professor of music Nicholas V. D'Angelo, was recently performed at the 61st annual Composers Conference at Wellesley College in Wayland, Mass.

D'Angelo, who was a fellow of the conference, attended seminars and spoke about his work.

The quartet written for two violins, a viola and a cello was featured on the final night of the conference, Aug. 6, when it was rehearsed, performed and recorded.
