Hobart College junior Bernard Abagali was named the Liberty League Mens Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week by the conference office today.
Abagali led Hobart (2-3-0) with four points on a goal and two assists in a 1-1 week. In a 2-1 victory over St. John Fisher on Tuesday, Abagali scored his first collegiate goal, the game-winner, at the 62-minute mark. On Saturday against Rochester, he produced two assists during a 3-2 setback.
Abagali leads the Statesmen in points and assists this season. He is also tied for third in the Liberty League in assists.
The Statesmen will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 18 when they visit Utica for another non-league match at 7 p.m.
