Peter Cummings, professor of English and comparative literature, has his work The Adirondacks: A Crown of Sonnets accepted for publication in Blueline: A Literary Magazine Dedicated to the Spirit of the Adirondacks for spring, 2002. A crown is a set of seven sonnets in which the last line of the first six becomes successively the first line of the ensuing sonnet, while the last line of the seventh is the same as the first line of the first one.
