Professor of Economics Alan Frishman chaired a panel titled Issues of Manufacture, Trade and Globalization in Africa at the African Studies Association meetings on Nov. 11-14 in New Orleans. He also presented a paper titled The Survival of Large Scale Industries in Kano, Nigeria at that panel.
