31 October 2011 Halloween Marathon of American Horror

Tonight on All Hallows Eve, the FX Network will air a special Halloween marathon of the new hit drama American Horror Story, the newest series by Co-Creators and Executive Producers Brad Falchuk 93 and Ryan Murphy.

Beginning at 10 p.m., FX will feature the first four episodes of the series, including part one of a special two-part, Halloween-themed episode in honor of the horror-filled holiday. The second part will air during the series regular time on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 10 p.m. Feature film star Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) guest stars in both episodes as one of the houses former owners.

American Horror Story revolves around the Harmons, a family of three who moved from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. Dylan McDermott, of the hit television show The Practice, Connie Britton of Friday Night Lights and Oscar Award winner Jessica Lange star in the series. FX launched the show to series, ordering 12 episodes apart from its pilot episode, before the series even premiered in October.

Ryan and Brad are two of the most original voices working in television, and their singular vision is evident in every frame of American Horror Story, commented Twentieth Century Fox TV Chairmen Dana Walden and Gary Newman in a FX press release. Just as they delivered a brand new take on the musical comedy in Glee, theyve completely reinvented the horror genre with this spellbinding series. Their script attracted a cast that is a virtual whos who of award winning performers and the result is an electrifying piece of entertainment.

Falchuk is the recipient of multiple Emmys as Glee co-creator, executive producer and director. At Hobart, Falchuk received a B.A. in English. He began his career as a screenwriter on science fiction shows such as Mutant X, Earth: Final Conflict and Veritas: The Quest. Falchuk went on to write for the award-winning FX series Nip/Tuck, where he also served as a director and executive producer. Falchuk continues to write and serve as executive producer for Fox hit series Glee.
