27 April 2020 Secor 10 Donating Art Sale Proceeds to Food Bank
Painter James Secor 10 is turning art into food during the coronavirus pandemic. Based in Montpelier, Vt., Secor has created an online store offering postcards of his paintings and hes donating all of money raised to the Vermont Foodbank.
The deal is, you get some postcards of my paintings, and the Vermont Foodbank gets 100% of the purchase price, Secor says. The Vermont Foodbank is currently focusing on how to meet the needs of people facing hunger during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The 4.5 x 5.5-inch postcards, featuring Secors expressive still life and scenic paintings, are available in packs of 5, 10 or 15.
At Hobart, Secor majored in French and Francophone studies with minors in studio art and music. He graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Named an artist to watch by the Vermont Art Guide, Secors work has been exhibited throughout Vermont, including Studio Place Arts and the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester.
The image above, Fading Light, is available as a postcard in Secors online store.
