PIR_Finance_Tech_2Leaders in the global financial market, Adam Kansler 90 and Jennifer Crupnick Weisbard 10 of IHS Markit will return to the Colleges as part of the Professionals in Residence series to offer insight on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 in the Sanford Room. Kansler, the firms executive vice president of financial markets, and Weisbard, the director of account management, will also interview select students on Wednesday, Feb. 14 in Trinity Hall.

As executive vice president, Kansler oversees pricing and reference data, trade processing, valuations, indices, and economic and country risk products. Kansler previously served as global co-head of Markits information division and head of North American operations. Earlier, he served as Markits chief administrative officer and general counsel leading human resources, legal, corporate communications, risk, regulatory and strategic alliances. He holds a B.A. in economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.

Weisbards work is focused on customers in the tri-state area. At HWS, Weisbard majored in environmental studies, minored in economics and English, studied abroad in Queensland and was a member of the HWS Sailing Team.

Kansler, Weisbard and other HWS alums recently welcomed 23 students to their Manhattan offices for the NYC Finance Experience Program.
