6 December 2018 HWS Remembers President Bush

CurryWhile the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry 75, the 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church, officiatedthe funeral services of President George H.W. Bush, the Colleges community commemorated the late president on campus with flags lowered at half-staff.

During hisremembrance of Bushs life, Curry noted thatthrough his enduring commitment to public service and his steadfast devotion to his family, he lived the way of Jesus through a life shaped by faith, hope and, above all, love. Through his unswerving service to our country and to the human community around the globe, he embodied the noblest ideals of his faith and his country.
