After interning with Goldman Sachs in the summer of 2017, Cole Bardawill 18 has landed a full-time role with the global investment bank and financial services company. Working in the firms Salt Lake City office in the Operations division handling equity derivative settlements, Bardawill verifies trading information on behalf of Goldman Sachs clients.
I couldnt have asked to be starting my career off at a better firm, says Bardawill, who graduated magna cum laude in economics.
In addition to his coursework under the direction of his adviser, Assistant Professor of Economics Warren D. Hamilton, Bardawill prepared for the financial industry through the Fullbridge Finance Seminar and an internship in the business office. In 2014, he also served as a financial intern for Teleperformance, Canada and later as an analyst/coordinator for Rogers Media in Toronto.
He also connected with Goldman Sachs employees including Thomas Smith P18, Scott Ghiraldi 10 and Lisa Nelson 12 during the annual NYC Finance Experience Program offered by the Salisbury Center for Career, Professional and Experiential Education.
HWS prepared me for what I was walking into at the firm, says Bardawill.
While at HWS, Bardawill was a member of the Finance Society and the Statesmen lacrosse team. He competed in the Netherlands Mens Lacrosse Team in the under-19 world championship in 2012 in Finland and the European championship in Hungary in 2016.
