Mike Black, general manager of WEOS radio station, had an article published in the Aug. 1 issue of Radio World. Titled Telos Xport is Fast on Its Feet, the article focused on the new equipment used in the first Division I mens college lacrosse game in 32 years and the first broadcast in Texas, between the Hobart College Statesmen and the Georgetown Hoyas at Texas Military Institute. To broadcast from Texas, Black used the station's new Telos Zephyr Xport.
