Spencer Ferdinand, a member of the Hobart Class of 1979, was featured in Newsday July 25, in the article A Queens Idea Man Thinks Big. Ferdinand is the new executive director of the Queens County Overall Economic Development Corp. He has reorganized the seven-member staff and streamlined operations, reached out to potential business partners and jumped into the group's day-to-day workings without missing a beat, said one trustee. His goals are bigger and better.
