26 February 2007 Film on black newspapers to be shown

The screening and discussion by Linda Robertson of the Media and Society Department on the documentary film The Black Press: Soldiers Without Swords, will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 in the library's Sanford Room.

The film is the first documentary to provide an in-depth examination of the history and contributions of African American newspapers.

All are invited.
