L. Scott Clark, a member of the Hobart Class of 1988, has been promoted to executive director of laboratory services at Gentris Corporation, a clinical pharmacogenomics testing and diagnostic products company. Clark has held numerous corporate and academic research positions in pharmacogenomics, molecular biology, genotoxicology, mutational spectra, and DNA sequencing. He held the position of associate director of clinical studies/study director at DNA Sciences Laboratories (formerly known as PPGx, Inc.) prior to joining Gentris. He also served as a genetic toxicologist/study director with Integrated Laboratory Systems. Clarks research includes work with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Cornell University, The University of North Carolina, and The Unversity of Vermont. Clark holds a B.S. in Biology from Hobart College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Vermont.
