5 October 2006 Sankofa looks at the 60s

A panel discussion on the Civil Rights Movement in the United States and the African National Congress's Armed Struggle in South Africa will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the library's Geneva Room.

As part of the month-long event, Decades: Looking Back to Move Forward, sponsored by Sankofa: the Black Student Union, Cedric Johnson of the Political Science Department and Rosa Blue, who recently received the Geneva NAACP Chapter's lifetime achievement award, will focus on the Civil Rights Movement.

All are invited.
