12 April 2006 Ferrara attains payroll certification

Elaine Ferrara, Assistant Controller in the Business Office recently completed the examination requirements to become a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). The certification requires a combination of coursework, professional experience and passing a lengthy examination. Elaine passed the exam at the end of a week long conference at the Payroll Learning Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This certification is sponsored by the American Payroll Association which is the professional society for payroll professionals; providing education, publications and other services to the payroll industry.
