The Hobart Chapter of Delta Chi fraternity hosted an awards ceremony for two alumni brothers on Friday, Oct. 28.
Michael Mills 96 received the Distinguished Delta Chi of the Year Award, presented to only two alumni internationally every year.
Michael Fudzinski 96 received a Meritorious Service Award for his dedication and service to the international headquarters. The Meritorious Service Award is seldom presented to brothers with less than 10 years of service.
Fudzinski also received the BB of the Year Award as alumni advisor to the Hobart Chapter.
The ceremony was attended by President and Mrs. Gearan, some faculty, staff and a handful of Delta Chi alumni. These awards are among a dozen that Hobart Chapter received at this summer's Delta Chi international convention.
In a ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 1, Delta Chi received the President's Cup for the 2004-05 year at the President's House.
Hobart College fraternity brothers are now working with Save the Children, the AIDS relief effort, the Red Cross and other organizations.
