30 January 2026 • Alums Career Conversations with the HWS Board of Trustees
Trustees offer students practical advice and professional insight during Career Office Hours in Stern Hall.
HWS students will have a unique opportunity to connect with accomplished alumni and leaders from a wide range of professions when members of the HWS Board of Trustees host Career Office Hours on Friday, Feb. 6, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Stern Hall.
As part of the Board’s campus visit, Trustees are generously offering one-on-one and small-group conversations designed to help students explore career paths, learn about different industries and organizations, and gain practical advice on entering the workforce. During these sessions, students may ask questions, seek guidance, or simply hear firsthand what it’s like to work in a particular field. Interested students need to register in advance via Handshake.
“Our Trustees and alumni are deeply committed to supporting students,” says Assistant Vice President for Career Services Brandi Ferrara. “Their willingness to share insight, advice and personal career stories reflects the strength of the HWS network and its focus on mentorship.”
The Career Office Hours are open to all students and require no advance preparation—just curiosity and a willingness to engage. The sessions span multiple industries and career interests, allowing students to choose the area most aligned with their goals.
