Joining a team of some of the industry's most talented and prestigious broadcasters, Terens will add his knowledge and experience to a talented group of announcers.

Terens got his start in broadcasting as a senior, calling basketball and hockey games for the campus radio station WHWS. Following graduation, he worked as a commentator for University of Vermont basketball, the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, America East TV, IVY League Network, and Patriot League Network. He has gone on to serve as the play-by-play commentator for The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, United Soccer League Championship, ESPN and US Open Cup.

Most recently, he was a member of Chicago Fire FC announcing play-by-play on WGN, and on VISTA Worldlink serving as the primary play-by-play announcer for the Phoenix Rising.

In addition, he has covered sporting events for multiple colleges and universities, including Princeton, Northeastern, Stevens Institute of Technology and College of the Holy Cross.

A member of the Statesmen soccer team, Terens majored in psychology and minored in media and society. He was named a two-time Liberty League All-Academic. A four-year letter-winner for the Hobart soccer team, Terens was a starter on defense in his final three seasons. He helped the Statesmen win at least 10 games in each of his four seasons, posting a 13-3-2 record as a senior. That year, Terens and his Hobart teammates finished second in the Liberty League with a 5-1-2 record. In 57 career matches, Terens produced five goals and seven assists.
