6 September 2012 An Excellent Celebration

The William Smith Deans Office will host the annual Celebrating Excellence Dinner on Friday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. in the Vandervort Room. All William Smith women are encouraged to attend and share in the public recognition of their many accomplishments, both in and out of the classroom.

This event serves to bring WS students together to kick off the new academic year with a fun celebration and a wonderful dinner, says Assistant Dean for William Smith Valerie Gunter.

At the dinner, the Laurel Society, the sophomore and junior honor society, will introduce and induct its newest members. In addition, William Smith students with a 3.7 cumulative GPA or above will be recognized.

The student speakers will be Molly Krifka 13 and Sarah Hogg 16. Krifka will discuss her experience working abroad in Peru over the summer as the recipient of one of this years Salisbury Summer International Internship Stipend.
